Don’t the weeks just fly by on the lead up to Christmas!

It’s a comment that many of us make, however, these weeks are no different to any other. It’s more than likely that time feels like it’s speeding up with the lead up to the big day because there is simply just so much to do. When we’re busy, time can pass us by and this is exactly what happens around this time of year.

What happens though, when you’re so busy with other things, that you just don’t have to time to be ‘busy with Christmas’?

In our last blog post we threw the idea out there about taking the stress out of Christmas with a Personal Concierge. Turning to a reliable source that could turn your Christmas flurry into something far more calming. We offered a few solutions that your Personal Concierge could take care of, so this week, we thought we would expand a little and suggest a few more.

  • Gift baskets or hampers for your valuable clients are a great way to show appreciation for continued business. If you don’t have time to find the best options, your Personal Concierge can do his for you. Give them an idea of what you’re looking for, who you want to send them to, how much you want to spend and let them do the rest.
  • If your Personal Concierge is local to you, they may offer a ‘postal service‘. By this, we mean that they take the hassle out of trips to the post office to post gifts that you may want to send to different parts of the country or even the world!  Perhaps you have a bundle of Christmas cards that need to be posted. If they are for businesses local to you, perhaps you prefer that personal touch of hand delivery.
  • Do you need to arrange getting from place to place? Perhaps you don’t want to drive on Christmas Eve and would prefer to take the train to stay with your relatives elsewhere? Your Personal Concierge can help you with your transportation arrangements from booking and collecting tickets, to making sure you have a taxi ready for you to take you to the station.

There are so many things that you could turn over to your Personal Concierge to take care of.  It doesn’t have to be a time of stress and overwhelm, it can be one that you feel in control of and ready to enjoy. After all, that’s what it’s all about isn’t it? Spending time with your family, your friends, your pets and away from the busyness of everyday life.

We’ve made just a few suggestions, and we know there are many more ways to make life easier.

If you were to seek a little Christmas Concierge, you’re very own elf, what would you ask them to assist you with to ease the pressure of such a busy time?
